Evan Rapoport is the Founder and CEO of SMArtX Advisory Solutions, the award-winning unified managed accounts technology platform. Building on years of experience in the institutional asset management segment, Evan pioneered managed accounts technology that allows wealth managers of all types to access the same strategies typically only available to the largest investors. During the last decade, Evan has helped to redefine the next evolution in managed accounts technology by leveraging a unified managed accounts technology structure and creating technology that brings the financial advisory industry into the modern day of technology. Furthermore, SMArtX has received industry recognition as a technology leader underpinning both the enterprise and the advisory level TAMP user experience.
Before forming SMArtX, Evan created one of the world’s most comprehensive financial data marketplaces for hedge funds, HedgeCo.Net, which still exists today. Prior to HedgeCo, Evan was a Senior Vice President at Broadband Capital Management in New York City. At Broadband, he managed assets for institutions and high net worth clients, and participated in private placements and PIPE transactions. Previously, he worked at Oscar Gruss’ Private Client Group, where he is still the youngest person to be Senior Vice President in the history of the NYSE member. Evan started his career in a Chairman’s Council member’s office at Paine Webber. He has been featured on the FOX Business Channel, FOX News, CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg, and in leading publications including the Wall Street Journal.
